David Lane
David is a scientist working in plant biosecurity, with a strong foundation in plant pathology. After graduating from Curtin University in 2017, where his research focused on Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, he began his career in plant biosecurity. David has also contributed to forestry research at Scion in New Zealand, studying Red Needle Cast, a disease affecting pine needles. Currently, he works for Biosecurity Queensland, providing scientific advice to develop surveillance protocols and deliver training programs for biosecurity staff.
