Onyemaechi O.H. Obiazikwor
I am originally from Nigeria, where I obtained my bachelor's and master’s degrees. I graduated with a First-Class Honours degree from the Department of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, University of Benin, Nigeria, with a research honours in plant pathology. I obtained a master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a distinction from the same department. I am enthusiastic about doing research contributing to ensuring food security. My areas of research interest include molecular plant-microbe interactions, crop microbiome, nanoparticles and soil-borne biotic stress. I am currently doing my PhD at Murdoch University, Western Australia, Australia. My PhD research is focused on understanding changes to the tomato rhizosphere microbiome in the presence of biological products and/or root-knot nematode infestation. I have published over five research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
