Daniel Huberli

Daniel has been working as a plant pathologist focusing on root pathogens for over 25 years internationally and within Australia on Phytophthoras on forest trees and horticulture, and now more recently in agriculture, focusing on cereal crops. He has been the lead on many GRDC funded research projects looking at soil biology and interactions with disease, and improving the control and management options for soilborne fungal diseases of cereals and other broadacre crops. He is currently the national leader of the GRDC Rhizoctonia project and collaborates closely with the GRDC soil amelioration project. He has supervised over 20 students in universities including at the University of California and Murdoch University, and has published over 80 research and conference papers.
